An advisor makes you the first priority.

How do you estimate your fees?
My fees are based on time, the extent of the materials, whether or not you have documentation, and so forth. Generally, I charge by the hour, but there are some instances where it is simplest to work with a flat fee.

Will you help me with making purchases?
Yes! We can discuss pieces that interest you, your budget, what else you have in your collection so that a new purchase is the also the right purchase for you.

Why should I get my jewelry appraised?
Initially, so that you are informed about your assets. In time, an appraisal acts as a trusted document of ownership.

When is a good time for me to have my jewelry appraised?
People vary in their reasons for wanting to have their jewelry appraised. For some, they do so when they marry (or divorce), when they make a significant purchase or sale, when they have children.

I’m getting married. What should I know?
You may wish to have your jewelry appraised to determine what is yours, or what can be called into question. The best overall answer is that together we would determine things to consider.

Do you need to see the jewelry in person to evaluate it?
Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. It depends on what you have and your needs.

I have 3 daughters and 4 granddaughters: help!
This can be as simple or as complex as you choose. Often, when the principal makes a decision independent of consulting with her heirs, it is less arduous. We can discuss the ways in which to consider dividing your collection, based on factors from sentimentality to documented costs. The approach can be tailored to fit the needs.
